Paducah Kentucky Market
The Ohio River snakes through the Paducah radio market which extends from Murray and Mayfield, Kentucky, across the river to include Metropolis, Illinois, and covering approximate 180,000 persons. Visitors come to Paducah for the annual Barbeque on the River festival and to Metropolis, the official home of Superman, for riverboat gambling at their dockside casino. Nearby Murray is home to Murray State University boasting enrollment of just over 10,000 students. Lying on the east side of the market, the Land Between the Lakes provides great recreational resources and is considered one of the most beautiful places on the earth.
